Protocol

Code of Conduct

Respect & Discipline

Our community is built on mutual respect. We maintain a professional atmosphere where every rider is treated with the same standard of care and courtesy. No ego riding or aggressive behavior is tolerated.

Formation & Safety

Strict adherence to formation is mandatory. Riders must follow the lead and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. Helmets are mandatory for all members during every ride.

Brand Neutrality

As a brand-neutral community, we focus on the ride, not the bike. We do not promote or endorse specific manufacturers. Our identity is defined by our shared values and discipline.

Structured Environment

URC Kannur is a well-organized group tour. Riders are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for structured routes. Any deviation from the planned itinerary requires prior approval.

URC Membership & Participation Policy Update

As URC continues to grow, we would like to introduce a few structured guidelines to help maintain the riding culture, discipline, and community spirit that we started with.

These are not restrictions, but steps to ensure URC remains a safe, respectful, and well-organized riding community for everyone

URC Identity

Members are strongly encouraged to use the URC T-Shirt / Riding Jersey during rides to help maintain club identity and ride coordination.

New Member Joining Process

Going forward, new members will be added primarily through referrals from existing URC members.

* The referring member should accompany the guest rider for their initial rides.
* Guest riders may participate in up to 2 rides before membership review.
* Based on ride discipline, compatibility, and overall participation, the core team will review and confirm membership.

This helps us maintain the culture and riding standards of URC.

Active Participation

To keep the group active and ride-focused, members who are unable to participate in 4 consecutive rides may be moved to inactive member status.

Inactive members are always welcome to re-join future rides and can reactivate through the normal participation process.

Ride Discipline

Safety and discipline remain the foundation of URC.

Repeated unsafe riding, ignoring ride coordination instructions, reckless behaviour, or actions affecting the group’s safety and atmosphere may lead to membership review by the core team.

Ride Confirmation

Members who confirm participation for rides are requested to inform in advance if they are unable to attend later. This helps with route coordination, food arrangements, stay bookings, and overall ride planning.

Thank you all for being part of this journey and helping build URC into a disciplined, respectful, and welcoming riding community
